JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the basic diagnose, repair and car maintenance. And able to explain to customer automotive problems found and repair solutions to meet expectations. Consistently monitors GJ Technician's quality of work, discipline and skill up level.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
1. Peform vehicle diagnosis (e.g., electrical, electronics, mechanical, and etc.)
2. Perform vehicle mechanical repairs (e.g., underchassis, suspension and drivetrain)
3. Perform vehicle maintenance
4. Test drive with the customer
5. Handles multi-brand experties (e.g., German, American, Japanese and other European)
6. Quality inspector of the whole technician team's work. And also apply and or practice safety related tasks.
7. Act as a back up parts admin.
8. Act as a back up service advisor.
9. Customer communication and repair explanation.
10. Maintain cleanliness of assigned bay/workshop. Performs 5S at all times.
11. Regular maintenance of assigned tools and calibration check. Uses the appropriate tools for the right job/repair.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years college graduate or equivalent.
- Must be an NC I and NCII holder.
- At least 3 years experience working in the automotive industry as a diagnostic technician.
- At least 3 years experience in handling GJ Technicians.
- Expert in German, American and other European Brand.
- Able to adapt with the new car features and technology.
- Handles luxury car brand and sports car is a bonus.
