The Role:
Serve as a point of contact for Master Data Governance (MDG) costing flow, Regional Operations Finance (OF), OF Active Ingredient (AI) analysts
ML Master Data Governance – Assist in managing the MDG process for costing by tracking and triaging costing requests, performing quality control on master data, and costing of materials for requests received thru the MDG workflow system. This will require working cross functionally and balancing the costing requirements with SC/Ops requirements.
Participate in projects to improve MDG and costing process as needed. Including but not limited to: Testing, activity tracking, and providing input on enhancements to improve efficiency.
Provide support for the quarterly and annual costing processing as needed. Including - data loading, running costing in SAP, analyzing cost changes, triaging and fixing costing errors.
Provide backup support for monthly material ledger and closing cockpit activities.
Manage relationships with business partners and personnel across manufacturing plants to support system investigation / drill down.
The Candidate:
2-3 years of experience in cost or inventory accounting required (preferably in manufacturing)
Prior experience using SAP, specifically running standard costs required.
Knowledge of SAP Material Ledger & other SAP modules a plus.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite - especially Excel
General knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and operations
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with several business partners globally
Strong technical skills and understanding of data structures and dataflows
Strong understanding of financial information
Creativity and problem-solving capabilities to structure robust visualizations
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
