Job Description
- Delivers production line installation and other projects affecting production on time; ensuring product SOP is achieved
- Contributes in using budget wisely thru a timely and appropriate spendings.
- Calculates Mechanical Bill of Materials and up to date cost estimation to determine minimum cost requirement is spent.
- Initiates energy project and ensures that the programs will generate savings, sustainable and attainable ensuring business continuity and profitability.
- Prepares project conceptual design and cost estimates ensuring all mechanical systems are considered.
- Conducts actual site inspection and assessment on the proposed project to determine existing mechanical system present in the area to incorporate in the project design.
- Prepares detailed design and bid/functional specifications guaranteeing customers project deliverables are encompassed.
- Supporta on the Pre-Bid Meeting to ensure clarity and timeliness of supplier deliverables.
- Reviewa of bids and engineering evaluation ensuring all bids are according to the detailed design and functional specifications.
- Prepares detailed timeline of implementation with S-Curve and Critical Path for timely delivery of the project.
- Prepares detailed shop drawings in case of variation orders and make certain that the cost is appropriate.
- Participates in workshops ensuring that layout are visualized before implementing.
- Responsible in the calculation of utilities inputs for product quotations and machine/equipment specifications.
- Communicates to all requestor and stakeholders to gather and ensure that all their requirements for layout or projects are considered.
- Coordinates and deliver the projects on time and according customer and shareholders requirement to ensure a win-win solution for a positive customer / end user service orientation.
- Analyzes contractor/service provider performance ensuring their actions are aligned to Continental standard.
- Liaises with the government agencies (PEZA & etc..) for the application of installation and operating permits ensuring compliance.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed / Registered Mechanical Engineer
- Must have at least 5 years experience on Project Management and have extensive knowledge on the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Extensive proven experience in Kaizen methodology approach
- With in-depth understanding of IATF16949, ISO 9001,ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standard
- With experience in managing Cost Reduction Program (CRP)
- Knowledgeable in Philippines Electrical Code, National Building Code and Fire Code of the Philippines
- Knowledgeable in Facilities Management, Energy Management and Occupational Safety and Health
