Job Summary:
The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and technical support tasks across various areas of the casino. This includes mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building upkeep, ensuring the facility operates efficiently and meets all safety and compliance standards. The technician supports both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, contributing to a seamless and safe environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and infrastructure.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to casino operations.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining electronic gaming machines, surveillance systems, and other technical equipment (if applicable).
- Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all repair and maintenance activities.
- Support emergency response efforts in case of equipment failure or facility-related incidents.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when external services are required.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and security of maintenance areas and equipment rooms.
- Assist other departments (e.g., F&B, Security, Housekeeping) with technical support needs as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a multi-skilled or general maintenance technician role, preferably in a hospitality or casino environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of casino gaming equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
