- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate.
- Help patients with repositioning and transferring to and from beds, chairs, and other locations.
- Provide assistance with toileting, incontinence care, and maintaining hygiene.
- Assist with feeding patients, ensuring they are comfortable and hydrated.
- Observe and report changes in patients' condition to the nursing team or physicians.
- Help maintain accurate patient records, including daily activities, food intake, and any observed changes in behavior or condition.
- Monitor patient comfort levels and report any signs of discomfort or distress.
- Assist registered nurses with medical procedures and tasks as directed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist with wound care, basic dressing changes, and other supportive care activities.
