ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
- Formulate and implement a health program for the company.
- Initiate and organize OHS training & First Aid training of employees and executives.
- Participates in the maintenance of Occupational Health and Safety by giving suggestions for the improvement of the working environment.
- Coordination of annual physical exam (APE) onsite or offsite (branches).
- Organize the random drug test in the main office as well with the branches.
- Communicates all medical exam results to the concerned employees and the HR for proper guidance.
- Ensures that emergency response procedure is in place.
- Maintains updated medical records of all employees.
- Administers first aid treatment to employees as needed.
- Conduct referral for medical emergency if needed.
- Dispenses medicines to employees with common illnesses as deemed necessary.
- Gives health advice and nursing care to employees with health problems.
- Provides appropriate health support to all employees to further enhance wellness and prevent illness.
- Submits sickness illness summary report on a monthly basis.
- Monitors medical supplies and first aid kit.
- Prepares and submits an annual medical report to DOLE.
- Helps in establishing new policies or procedures related to Occupational Health and Safety.
- Conduct health education training and new medical trends to the employees.
- Frequently post health and wellness posters for employee’s awareness.
- Perform necessary medical and clinical assistance to the employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Must be a registered nurse.
- Computer literate.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and related software.
- Must have Basic Life Support and First Aid Training.
- Critical thinker and have initiative to perform duties and improvements.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 6 months of clinical/ hospital experience.
- Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
- Advance knowledge in nursing and clinical profession.
- Compassionate to its responsibilities and roles.
- Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Diligent with great attention to detail.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on employee’s needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
