Education
Graduate of any 4-year Computer/IT related-course.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Basic Knowledge of computer systems commands as well as network protocols and its differences.
- Familiarity with computer system interfaces/environment scenario.
- Exposure in computer system hardware and its peripherals.
- Know-how to navigate tools for monitoring server/storage/applications status and performance.
- No failing grades.
- Experience on Systems Operations is an advantage.
- Willing to work shifts even on weekends and holidays.
- Willing to work on extended hours.
- Attention to details.
Duties and Responsibilities
Resource Performance Management
- Executes operating system commands and analyze output based on standards set.
- Uses systems utilities/tools.
- Adheres to procedures in general systems tasks.
- Conducts routine systems/applications checking to ensure identified checkpoints and below its critical operational threshold (i.e (1) pending transactions checking ,(2)connectivity checking ,(3) application performance checking in terms of TPS and TAT.
Resource Trouble Management
- Detects and documents system problems, errors and resolutions made according to set procedures/SLAs.
- Performs basic troubleshooting steps and triggers escalation relative to defined thresholds.
Applications Management
- Executes pre-programmed application systems.
- Interpret application logs and performance based on standard set.
