The incumbent oversees the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring efficient execution, adherence to quality standards, and timely completion within budget. He/she are responsible for coordinating project teams, managing resources, and maintaining client relationships. This role also involves ensuring safety compliance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and specifications.
- Manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
Operations Management:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate construction activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure projects meet standards.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain records of safety compliance and training.
Client and Stakeholder Relations:
- Maintain communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Negotiate with clients and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Operations Management or similar course.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction operations or project management.
