Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Operations Manager based in the Philippines to support the performance, integration, and growth of our Philippines-based accounting team. While this role does not include direct management of accounting staff, the Operations Manager will work closely with team leads, HR partners, and U.S. leadership to ensure the offshore team operates efficiently, aligns with best practices, and delivers high-quality service to clients.
This is a strategic, process-driven role suited for someone with a solid understanding of the accounting function and experience optimizing service delivery in a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Support the day-to-day operations of our Philippines-based team by coordinating workflow, maintaining alignment across teams, and identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with accounting leadership to define, document, and implement standardized processes and procedures that improve consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Team Enablement: Act as a resource for team members to ensure they have the tools, guidance, and environment needed to succeed. Facilitate training, communication, and cultural alignment across geographies.
  • Quality & Performance Monitoring: Partner with team leads to review key metrics (e.g., turnaround times, deliverable quality, internal SLAs). Surface trends and propose improvements.
  • Growth & Scalability Support: Contribute to the strategic development of our offshore capabilities. Recommend systems, tools, or structural changes that enable team growth and improved service delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as a communication bridge between Philippines-based team members and U.S.-based leadership, ensuring transparency and consistency in priorities and expectations.
  • Onboarding & Integration: Work with HR and department leads to help onboard new Philippines-based hires and ensure they integrate effectively with client service teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify operational pain points and areas for automation or streamlining. Support the rollout of new tools and systems.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in operations, service delivery, or team coordination roles—ideally within a professional service, BPO, or accounting environment
  • Working knowledge of accounting workflows and terminology (you do not need to be an accountant, but you understand how accounting teams operate)
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams
  • Strong process development and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across cultures and time zones
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Comfortable working in cloud-based environments (e.g., Slack, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Karbon, Asana, etc.)
  • Prior experience in offshore operations or team enablement role is a plus
