Job Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations. Ensure smooth service flow from kitchen to dining areas. Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance of the restaurant.
- Staff Management: Supervise and support waitstaff, kitchen crew, and other team members. Help with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Create shift schedules and manage staff attendance or absences. Handle team conflicts or issues in coordination with the manager.
- Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and service. Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally. Engage with guests to ensure a welcoming and hospitable experience.
- Sales and Revenue Support: Promote daily specials or upsell food and beverage items. Monitor sales and help implement strategies to achieve targets. Assist with inventory control and cost monitoring.
- Quality Control: Check food and beverage preparation for quality, consistency, and presentation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely and accurate order delivery.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with cash handling, closing reports, and POS reconciliations. Maintain records for inventory, staff performance, and customer feedback. Help in preparing operational reports as needed.
- Training and Development: Conduct or assist in training programs for service improvement. Mentor junior staff and ensure ongoing development. Enforce standard operating procedures and service protocols.
- Coordination and Communication: Liaise between front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager regarding any issues or improvements needed. Represent the manager in their absence.
Qualifications:
- Has a Basic/Average Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge in profit, loss, and F&B costing.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Five (5) years at an Integrated Resort Hotel and Casino is an advantage.
- Eight to Five (8-5) years Supervisory experience.
- Preferably with F&B product and service knowledge in Casino setting.
