Job Purpose:• The Payroll Specialist will be responsible in ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll, in close collaboration with the Company’s payroll vendor.
• The role will oversee and manage all payroll functions, including but not limited to submission of payroll input and instructions, calculation and review of withholding taxes and any other deductions, addressing payroll-related issues or escalations, as well as maintenance of accurate payroll records.
• The role is also expected to be knowledgeable of updated payroll laws and regulations, including compensation tax memorandum circulars, labor advisories and statutory wages and/or benefits. Compliance to statutory reportorial requirements and submissions will also be part of the job responsibility.
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any business related field course
Experience:
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in Payroll and Statutory Remittance Reporting, or accounting experience in a large customer-oriented company
- Strong sense of customer orientation
- Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
- Work experience in the same industry is a plus
