Job Description:
- Perform accurate measurements to support cutting, shaping, and machining operations.
- Set up, operate, and maintain various workshop machines, including lathes and shapers.
- Ensure proper machine settings and safe operating procedures are followed.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals to carry out machining tasks with precision.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of a technical or vocational course related to machining or mechanical work.
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Skilled in using manual and semi-automatic tools and machines such as lathes, shapers, and other related equipment.
- Capable of reading and understanding blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical manuals.
