About the role
As the PRESALES DESIGN SUPERVISOR at Internet of Things Philippines Inc.', you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's engineering solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of cutting-edge Internet of Things (IOT) technologies, collaborating closely with our sales team to deliver exceptional pre-sales support.
What you'll be doing
- Manage a team of Design Engineers to design and develop innovative IOT solutions
- Oversee the technical feasibility and viability of presales proposals, ensuring they align with client requirements
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and guidance during the presales process
- Review and approve design documentation, schematics, and prototypes to ensure high quality standards
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, optimizing the design and development process
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your team to explore new technologies and methodologies
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years in Solutions Architect, Design and Estimation for Security products (Access Control, Biometrics, Turnstiles, RFID, CCTV, Alarm, etc.), with a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Skilled in creating single line diagrams, riser diagrams, shop drawings, and interpreting design specs, wiring layouts, and as-built plans.
- Supervises Design Engineers, analyzes bidding documents, prepares project submittals, and manages costing and compliance.
- Recommends suppliers, provides cost benchmarks, and supports project implementation with detailed cost proposals.
- Suggests and implements workflow improvements and digital forms; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
