Job Summary:
The Process Technician is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the Production Operation and Process Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with the team according to Kaertech core values (Respect, Discipline, Teamwork, Excellence, Commitment, Continuous Improvement, and Accountability).
- Performs duties to install and maintain production machines.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Complies with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Performs other duties assigned by Process and Maintenance Engineer
- Assists in acquiring process cycle time for capacity planning.
- Supports process engineer with process and equipment qualification.
- Design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing by collaborating with the mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
- Assists in creating, modifying and revising manufacturing work instructions and process flow documentation.
- Provides technical support and training to assembly and manufacturing personnel.
- Provides cost calculation for certain rework activity.
- Performs process improvement such as yield, cost saving and efficiency.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Completed Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity in a PCBA manufacturing environment and equipment
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- Machine repair and maintenance experience is an advantage
- Possesses analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
