Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the Procurement Process:This includes overseeing the entire purchasing cycle, from identifying needs to receiving goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supplier Relationship Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating their performance, and negotiating contracts to secure the best possible terms.
- Inventory Management:Overseeing inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability while minimizing waste and holding costs.
- Purchase Order Management:Creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accurate information, and tracking their status to ensure timely delivery and payment.
- Cost Optimization:Identifying opportunities to reduce procurement costs through effective negotiation, sourcing, and process improvements.
- Procurement Metrics:Monitoring and reporting on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and lead times, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
