Position Summary: The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s procurement processes, ensuring that goods and services are acquired in a cost-effective, efficient, and timely manner. This position involves supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, budgeting, and maintaining compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company objectives.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Identify new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to ensure competitiveness and reliability.
- Procurement Planning & Budgeting:
- Forecast procurement needs and develop a procurement plan to meet those needs.
- Ensure the procurement budget is adhered to and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies, laws, and regulations.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to manage product demand and supply chain needs.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and corporate policies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement new technologies and tools to streamline procurement operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing procurement processes.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
