Brief Job Description:
Major responsibility of an ESourcing Analyst is to support ESourcing projects which includes (1) Managing the overall e-Sourcing project by reinforcing standards and guiding the project team to their optimum performance to ensure project goals are met. (2) Managing the supply base of an e-Sourcing project by effectively communicating project details to the suppliers, reporting supplier activities and concerns to the project team, and executing the online auction. And (3) Managing the data of an e-Sourcing project by making sure that all data are complete and accurate through effective communication with the project team.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Understand and seek critical information and data needed by the project team
- Create Event in ES site based on the project requirements
- Ensure quality and completeness of RFx documents, and is publish on-time
- Ensure Corporate and Perfect Execution requirement, as well as region specific requirements, are met.
- Support/Monitor Bid Event
- Provide pre-bid and post-bid analysis, as needed
- Ensure the project team follows strict operational procedures and decisions are made based on Market status and/or region goal
- Close the project by award creation in the ES site
- Facilitate conference calls with the project team (KO call and weekly calls)
- Provide meeting agenda and meeting minutes
- Manage Supplier Outreach and/or Data Management team, as needed.
- Communicate project timeline and monitor completion of key action items
Supplier Management
- Conduct supplier research
- Recommend suppliers based on previous e-Sourcing projects
- Cross check/verify supplier list with supplier database tools
- Create supplier outreach reports accurately and distribute to project team at a regular basis
- Manage supplier activities
- Conduct supplier trainings
- Monitor online events and assist suppliers on technical issues encountered
- Collect project requirements from suppliers
- Conduct supplier calls and emails
- Manage/address supplier questions/concerns
- Coordinate supplier concerns with the project team. Propose/Suggest ideas on common supplier issues/concerns.
- Provide supplier status during team meetings and on regular basis via email
Data Management
- Gather, scrub, manipulate and analyze data provided by the business units for the ES project
- Validate, review and compare historical data as applicable
- Conduct checking and data mining from drawings & specification
- Escalate data issues to the proper channel
- Recommend lotting strategies to business units
- Publish part interest form and/or cost breakdown file accurately and on a timely manner
- Perform pricing analysis and escalate to POC issues and opportunities identified
- Identify, calculate and present suppliers’ transformation factors, as needed
- Bachelor’s degree, no preferred degree
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain
- At least 2 years experience in Data reporting & Analytics
- Microsoft Excel – Intermediate Knowledge
- Commodity Familiarization – Basic Knowledge
- Experience in eSourcing tools preferred
