Duties and Responsibilities :
1.Material Planning and Forecasting
- Prepare and Maintain material requirement plans based on production schedules.
- Forecast inventory needs to support continuous production flow
- Coordinate with production ,purchasing, and warehouse departments to ensure timely material availability.
2.Inventory Management
•Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment as needed.
- Ensure proper recording of material receipts, issues ,and returns.
- Perform regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
3.Production Scheduling Support
• Assist in creating and updating production schedules.
- Ensure materials are available on time for scheduled production runs.
• Coordinate with Line Leaders and Production Supervisors on materials needs .
4.Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions usage and balances.
•Prepare, daily ,weekly ,or monthly reports on inventory status and material movements.
- File and manage all PMC-related documents for audits and reference purposes.
5.Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for material issuance and delivery.
- Communicate with the production team regarding shortages ,delays or material issues.
6.Support & Continuous Improvement
•Participate in process improvement activities related to inventory and material control
- Identify and suggest opportunities to optimize material flow and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
•Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering ,Logistics ,Supply Chain Management ,Business Administration
Work -Experience:
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Production Planning, Inventory Control or Material Management
- Experience in a Manufacturing or Logistics environment is an advantage.
