The PPIC Manager is responsible for overseeing the production planning, inventory control, and scheduling processes to ensure efficient operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves analyzing data, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to optimize production and minimize costs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
PRODUCTION PLANNING AND INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and optimize inventory levels
- Coordinate with sales, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Manage and maintain accurate production schedules and capacity planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and ensure on-time delivery
- Lead and mentor a team of production planners and schedulers
- Implement and maintain production planning systems and tools
- Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to review production performance and address any issues
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce lead times
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to production planning and inventory management.
- Other assigned tasks.
