This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Controls Manager with a proven track record in robust cost and schedule management, ideally coming from a cost control background, to take on a high value portfolio of projects for a high-profile client.

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and the project schedule targets.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Ensures that project control activities are performed in accordance with the contractual agreements and the Client’s requirements.
- Develop and implement the Project Control Execution Plan.
- Responsible for ensuring all project specific control tools and systems are set up and functioning adequately.
- Ensure project control staff are competent to carry out assigned work.
- Review and approval of Construction & Commissioning Contractors Base Line Schedule and Project Controls Plan including progress measurement and payment mechanisms.
- Manage the Integrated Schedule to include all activities including engineering, procurement, logistics, marine spread, construction and commissioning activities across a portfolio of projects and several contractors.
- Provide the Project Management with accurate monthly cost and progress reports incorporating early warning, forecast completions, together with the critical path and trend analyses
- Monitor overall project / assignment progress status, achievement and non-achievement of major milestones and analyze and forecast performance in relation to plan.
- Identifies and establishes the communications interfaces essential for the delivery of cost, planning, scheduling and risk deliverables and services.
- Measure and Report project status and KPI achievement to management.
- Manage the implementation of the cost and work breakdown structures.
- Manage and oversee the project work approval process in terms of accurate cost code allocation and initial budget set-up and approvals.
- Manage the workload, performance and development of the project controls team.
- Timely control and forecasting of budgets and ensure that the impact of all change requests is properly assessed and included in the budget and schedules if applicable.
- Accountable for delivery and ongoing maintenance of the projects fully resourced, logic linked Gantt charts within preferred planning software to the agreed project and program requirements.
- Accountable for providing analysis of current and future resource needs for the project and program to the Project Manager.
- Ensure the project change management system and assurance activities are adhered to.
- Oversee the preparation of proposal schedules and CTR packs.
- Ensure effective schedule risk analysis workshops / sessions both internally and with clients are undertaken and actions implemented.
- Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of all cost, planning and risk deliverables prior to issue to internal or external customer
- Coordinate with client representatives, team members, contractors, subcontractors to consider all project control requirements.

- B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum Experience:
- 15 years relevant experience in the oil & gas industry including offshore Brownfield projects., including at least five (5) years in similar position.
Role-Specific Skills/ Experience:
- Significant experience and capability in management of budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling and management of change on EPCm projects
- Knowledgeable across engineering, procurement and constructions execution · Understands the use and applications of Project Controls department tools and systems
