Job Scope:
The Project In-Charge oversees the implementation of furniture projects from site mobilization to final turnover. Responsible for coordinating installation teams, managing site progress, and ensuring compliance with client specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This role bridges the office-based planning team and site execution crew, serving as the main contact for site-related concerns, installation quality, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise on-site activities for furniture delivery, installation, assembly, and punchlisting.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams for timely delivery and accurate item dispatch.
- Interpret installation layouts, technical drawings, and project specifications to guide installers and subcontractors.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure all works follow approved plans and client requirements.
- Resolve on-site issues such as material shortages, design conflicts, or installation errors.
- Monitor and report daily work accomplishments, manpower attendance, and issues encountered.
- Ensure safety protocols and site cleanliness are consistently maintained.
- Serve as the primary site liaison with client representatives, general contractors, and consultants.
- Submit project completion reports, sign-off documents, and punchlist resolutions for final turnover.
- Assist in coordinating reworks, warranty service, or replacement of damaged items if needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical course
- Minimum 2–4 years of site supervision experience, ideally in office/home furniture or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of furniture installation methods, technical drawings, and materials.
- Experience in subcontractors and skilled laborers on site.
- Good communication and coordination skills, especially when dealing with clients and contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD plans and layout drawings.
- Physically fit and willing to be assigned to various project sites.
- Knowledge of basic safety practices and site protocols.
