Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Lead to shape and safeguard our brand’s reputation while driving the growth of our PR capabilities within the digital advertising space. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing strategic PR initiatives, managing high-stakes communications, and positioning our brand as a thought leader across traditional and digital channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven strategist with strong media relationships and a passion for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications
- Design and lead PR campaigns that support business objectives and enhance brand visibility.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for media engagement, thought leadership, and public-facing storytelling.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and relevant industry stakeholders.
Reputation & Crisis Management
- Direct all communication efforts during crises or sensitive situations.
- Act as the company spokesperson or coach executives for public speaking engagements.
- Develop proactive risk mitigation strategies and response protocols.
PR Business Expansion
- Grow the company’s PR service offerings and identify new areas for client engagement.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to win new PR clients and projects.
- Build strong client relationships through value-driven communications and results.
Content & Messaging
- Oversee the development of press releases, executive messaging, media kits, and opinion pieces.
- Ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and brand values across all public-facing content.
- Lead brand storytelling initiatives that increase awareness and engagement.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, nurturing growth and collaboration.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with marketing, creative, and executive teams.
- Promote a high-performance, agile team culture.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track PR performance metrics including media reach, sentiment, and audience engagement.
- Use analytics tools to generate insights and refine strategies for greater impact.
- Provide regular performance updates to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive PR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Background in agency or digital advertising environments is strongly preferred.
Skills & Expertise
- Skilled in reputation management and crisis communication.
- Extensive media relations experience with a strong industry network.
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with sharp execution capabilities and attention to detail.
Business & Tech Acumen
- Proven ability to scale PR offerings and win new clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for innovation and brand growth.
- Proficiency in PR tools such as Meltwater, Cision, Brandwatch, etc.
- Data-oriented, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.
- Familiar with influencer marketing, digital trends, and social listening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php130,000.00 per month
