We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist to join our Primary Care team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure high-quality results, and work closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to support accurate and timely patient care. You will also help create a safe and reassuring experience for patients.
We welcome both licensed professionals and allied health graduates who are eager to train and build a career in diagnostics. (Note: A 1-year employment bond applies for trainees.)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, position, and guide patients for ultrasound procedures
- Perform different types of scans (e.g., whole abdomen, thyroid, breast, KUB, HBT) within set timelines
- Ensure accuracy of patient history, image quality, and scan documentation
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Coordinate with Radiologists and OB Sonologists for result confirmation
- Assist in special procedures and patient scheduling or inquiries
- Observe safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
- Record and manage results using PACS, Emedcore, and Lifesys systems
Qualifications
- Preferred: BS Radiologic Technology graduate with PRC license (RRT or RXT)
- Open to trainees: Allied health course graduates with strong clinical potential
- Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology
- Basic troubleshooting of ultrasound machines
- Computer-proficient and able to multitask in a clinical setting
- Calm, compassionate, and adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Willing to work on rotational shifts, including graveyard schedules (5-day work week)
