POSITION SUMMARY
The Record to Report (RTR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support global finance and accounting operations by contributing to the design, implementation, and improvement of RTR processes, with a particular focus on the Asia region.
This role plays an important part in helping standardize processes, support automation efforts, ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations, and contribute to overall efficiency as part of the company’s finance transformation journey.
The Senior Analyst will apply foundational RTR process knowledge while working closely with stakeholders across the finance organization, including teams in shared service centers located in Cluj (Romania), Manila (Philippines), Reynosa (Mexico), and other global locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the go-to expert for RTR process transformation, covering General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Period Close, and Financial Reporting, for Asia region.
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders to assess current RTR processes and identify standardization and improvement opportunities.
- Lead or contribute to the design and deployment of RTR process frameworks, KPIs, policies, and governance models.
- Support ERP and systems transformation initiatives (e.g., Oracle EPM), including data migration, testing, and training activities.
- Collaborate with the relevant teams to implement automation, RPA, AI and analytics solutions in RTR.
- Ensure RTR processes meet internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
- Drive change management and knowledge transfer across regional RTR teams during transformation rollouts.
- Provide input into RTR-related master data governance and chart of accounts design.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial close processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and financial reporting tools (Oracle EPM, Blackline, HFM preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred. Green Belt or similar certification represents an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
