Recruitment Officer (Construction Workers)
Job Summary:
The Recruitment Officer is the key person responsible for the recruitment, retention, and welfare of construction workers across all projects. This role ensures that manpower requirements are effectively met while maintaining the well-being and acceptable living conditions of workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment and selection of skilled construction workers to meet project manpower needs.
- Manage worker needs, including temporary facilities, transportation, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Retain reliable and skilled workers by ensuring proper welfare support and acceptable living standards.
- Work proactively with the Project Manager and Project-In-Charge to forecast manpower requirements and maintain an effective workforce through a weekly worker allocation report.
- Monitor worker performance through regular evaluations and recommend salary adjustments for those demonstrating improved skills and trade knowledge.
- Coordinate with the head office regarding worker documentation, contracts, and benefits-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and promote a safe working environment at all project sites.
Job Requirements:
- At least a college level in any related course.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in recruiting skilled construction workers.
- Strong leadership skills; effective communicator, problem-solver, and planner.
- Proficient in basic computer applications.
- Willing to travel locally for recruitment across different provinces.
- Must possess valid driving skills and license.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php24,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
