About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Recruitment Resourcer to support blue-collar hiring across Australia. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and managing candidates while ensuring all compliance requirements are met. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will engage directly with candidates and work closely with the onshore team to deliver quality placements and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, and networking.
- Execute effective Boolean searches and targeted campaigns to build strong talent pipelines.
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
- Format CVs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and client-ready presentation.
- Manage multiple vacancies, tracking candidate progress and compliance requirements.
- Gather and consolidate compliance documents (licenses, police checks, medicals, registrations).
- Maintain accurate records and candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Coordinate interviews and ensure smooth communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Collaborate with the onshore 2XM team to understand client needs and provide regular recruitment updates.
- Engage with engineering and healthcare markets to stay informed of trends, competitor pay rates, and talent availability.
- Uphold company values and represent clients professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Recruitment Experience – Demonstrated background in candidate sourcing and screening, preferably in blue-collar recruitment (such as Fitters, Electricians, Boilermakers, Welders, Trade Assistants, Warehouse Workers, and Forklift Operators).
- Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written English, with the ability to confidently engage and build rapport with Australian candidates.
- Sourcing Expertise – Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search techniques, and other innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
- Candidate Assessment – Experience in reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and evaluating cultural fit to ensure quality placements.
- Compliance Knowledge – Familiarity with gathering, verifying, and managing compliance documents such as trade licenses, police checks, and medicals.
- Technical Skills – Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools, with solid computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
- Organisation & Time Management – Ability to prioritise and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Professionalism – A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to representing both the company and clients in the market.
