Coalitions for Change (CfC) Program Phase 3 – Governance & Stability
The Asia Foundation’s Coalitions for Change program, in partnership with Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, seeks a reform associate for local governance reforms. This remote position will report to the senior program specialist for Governance and Stability in the Philippines for 50 working days from October 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026. Some in-person engagement will be required.
The reform associate will provide research, coordination, and documentation support to strengthen local government reforms and improve service delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful governance change through evidence-based policy work and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and administrative support across reform activities.
- Conduct desk research on local governance and consolidate data.
- Draft briefing notes, meeting summaries, and other documentation.
- Assist in developing policy briefs, reports, and presentations.
- Support the planning and facilitation of consultations, workshops, and meetings.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, development studies, social sciences, or related field.
- Two to three years of relevant experience in project support, research, or stakeholder coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with government or development organizations.
- Familiarity with adaptive programming or Development Entrepreneurship approaches.
Compensation
A competitive consultancy fee commensurate with the consultant’s experience and expertise will be offered.
