About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Operations (RegOps) Analyst to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting regulatory and operational initiatives tied to Consolidated Tape Provider (CTP) bids for bonds across the EU and UK markets.
This mid-level role will be responsible for coordinating regulatory data and reporting, ensuring adherence to contractual and policy obligations, supporting internal governance committees, and preparing audit-ready documentation. A key component of the role involves submitting and verifying supporting evidence for internal audit purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Committee Reporting & Governance
- Prepare and maintain accurate reporting packs and data submissions for internal governance committees.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs and ensure timely delivery of materials for committee review.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Monitoring
- Track regulatory developments related to DORA, MiFID II, FCA, and ESMA frameworks affecting CTP obligations in the EU and UK.
- Support internal stakeholders in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and operational requirements.
- Assist with the implementation of internal controls to manage regulatory and operational risk exposures.
3. MSA and Policy Adherence
- Monitor compliance with Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and related internal/external policy requirements.
- Support oversight of third-party providers in accordance with outsourcing and regulatory policies.
4. Internal Audit Support
- Prepare and submit supporting evidence for internal audits in a maker-checker structure, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with audit protocols.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and assist in audit walkthroughs and follow-up actions.
- Work closely with internal audit, operations, and the rest of the GRC team to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a regulatory operations, compliance, internal audit coordination, or risk management role within financial services or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of EU/UK regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, ESMA, FCA).
- Experience in preparing governance reporting and documentation for internal committees and auditors.
- Familiarity with internal controls, policy monitoring, MSAs, SLAs, and outsourcing governance.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive regulatory data and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with a maker-checker process or similar control-based review workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on regulatory projects within a market infrastructure provider, trading venue, or investment firm.
- Familiarity with fixed income instruments and post-trade data handling.
- Understanding of audit documentation standards and evidence management tools.
