Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction for new hires.
Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from staff.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing in collaboration with finance, ensuring accuracy in timesheets, deductions, and leave balances.
- Maintain and update employee benefits records (e.g., health insurance, pension schemes).
- Respond to staff inquiries regarding payroll, salary slips, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with US statutory requirements related to payroll.
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
- Manage employee leave, attendance, and benefits tracking.
Performance Management
- Support the performance appraisal cycle, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking.
Policy Compliance
- Ensure HR policies are up to date and aligned with local labor laws.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and assist in policy development.
Learning & Development
- Coordinate training sessions and capacity-building initiatives for staff.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in an NGO or non-profit organization.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Proficient in using HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and communication tools like Zoom or Slack.
- Experience working with international and cross-cultural teams is a plus.
- Must be a resident of Cebu as in-person meet up shall be required once or twice a month.
