Position: Research Analyst II

Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in any field; with units in Master’s or post-doctorate degree related to education;
- Has at least 2 years of relevant experience in developing and finalizing education research project reports;
- Demonstrate strong organization skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Demonstrate skills in advanced word processing and desktop publishing, spreadsheet and database software (such a MS Office suite applications) as well as knowledge on the use of research software such NVIVO, SPSS, and the likes;
- Has the ability to use planning, analytical and problem solving skills in the management and delivery of applied research;
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment;
- Demonstrate ability to produce expected outputs within the agreed timeframe, and maintain strict confidentiality of data, as needed: and
- Career Service Eligible –Professional Level or related license/certification.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior leaders and project officers in the conduct of research activities and preparation of reports;
- Facilitate the documentation of the research activities of the projects;
- Draft project briefer, technical, research and other related reports;
- Draft letters/ communications related to the research projects;
- Facilitate write-shops/workshops and meetings related to the research project;
- Prepare multimedia presentations and other related materials following the branding of RITQ and research partners;
- Prepare requests for travel authority on travels related to the projects;
- Conduct field work activities, collect and organize data related to the project;
- Assist the senior leaders and project officers in analyzing collected data;
- Present/ discuss projects with partners and other stakeholders when requested;
- Attend the RITQ general meeting/project related meetings;
- Travel when needed for fieldwork or other relevant RITQ activities following PNU guidelines; and
- Perform other tasks assigned by the senior leaders that are relevant to one’s work.
