About the Role:
We are looking for a Risk Control Expert to lead and innovate within our risk management function, with a strong focus on AI integration and the Sportsbook gaming space. This role is not about building systems from scratch—we’ve already developed a comprehensive infrastructure. We need someone who can lead us into the next phase of evolution, leveraging AI and advanced data practices to enhance what we already have.
If you’ve worked in high-volume gaming platforms and played a key role in developing or integrating AI into risk or fraud systems, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the Risk Control team to achieve strategic goals and daily operational targets.
- Produce detailed reports on incidents, special cases, and anomalies, and consolidate overall data for strategic review.
- Act as a point of contact for cross-departmental coordination and handle communication on critical business issues.
- Optimize and refine system performance and strategy in response to shifting market conditions, with a focus on AI-driven enhancements.
- Manage and improve fraud detection and risk evaluation systems, particularly for Sportsbook and gaming-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English; Chinese is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Risk Management, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk control, with proven expertise in at least two areas (e.g., risk modeling, anti-fraud systems, etc.).
- Prior experience working on or managing risk in a European or Asian sports gaming platform.
- Strong risk identification and assessment abilities.
- Deep understanding of risk management processes and systems, with hands-on experience using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong background in data analysis, capable of using big data tools and methods for risk assessment, predictive modeling, and real-time fraud detection.
- Demonstrated experience in integrating AI into risk management or fraud systems, particularly in high-stakes, high-volume environments.
- What We’re Not Looking For:
- Candidates who focus mainly on building basic fraud systems from scratch (especially those from startup environments where the system is still in early development).
- Risk professionals without experience in AI applications or Sportsbook/gaming platforms.
