We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and ensure the implementation of workplace health and safety protocols in our construction project. You will be responsible for creating safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with government regulations, particularly DOLE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures for the construction site
- Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and audits
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills
- Facilitate safety training and orientation for all workers and subcontractors
- Ensure proper issuance and usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Maintain safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance records
- Coordinate with DOLE and other government agencies during inspections
- Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend preventive measures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field (preferred but not required for highly experienced candidates)
- At least 5 years of safety management experience in the construction industry
Required:
- COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) certification from a DOLE-accredited provider
- DOLE Safety Officer Accreditation (SO3 or SO4)
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) in the Philippines
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
Preferred / Advantage:
- BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) certification
- First Aid & Basic Life Support (Philippine Red Cross or accredited provider)
- Fire Safety Training (BFP or accredited provider)
- Scaffolding Safety & Working at Heights Training
- Heavy Equipment Safety Training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cavite: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
