JOB SUMMARY:
The Safety Officer inspects site conditions and ensures a safe and healthy environment for all the workers assigned in the project.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensures that construction workers and staff are following established safety policy and procedure
- Conducts site inspection to be aware of potential hazards in the workplace
- Suggests policies that reduce the risk of accidents
- Keeps up-to-date on latest safety regulations as directed by DOLE
- Conducts Incident/ Accident investigations to identify the cause and recommend corrective measures
- Ensures proper implementation of corrective actions
- Suspends work where conditions are unsafe for the construction workers
- Conducts Toolbox meeting and train workers on safety topics required by OSHA
- Prepares reports related to Health, Safety, Security and Environment
- Ensures that safety procedures are aligned with the quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree Holder
- 1-2 years of experience in the same capacity
- With background in construction industry
- With related experience in implementation of safety policy and procedure
- With COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) TraininG
- Completed forty (40)-hour OSH Training Course
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php19,000.00 per month
