Position Summary:
As the initial point of contact with potential customers, the ideal Sales Development Representative (SDR) should have a solid grasp of the sales process and excel in lead research, relationship-building, and preparing sales closers for success. This role requires a quick learner with excellent communication skills who can effectively present our offerings in an engaging manner. Each prospect represents an opportunity to drive revenue growth, increase customer acquisition, and enhance profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- Strong communication skills via phone, chat, and email
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Sales experience in a BPO setting is a must
- B2B experience is preferred.
