The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by creating business opportunities. This position involves strategic planning, lead generation, contract negotiation and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop target list of prospect clients based on his/her own network to ensure higher chance of closing the account.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trend and competitor offerings.
- Periodically conduct competitor pricing analysis.
- Present service proposals to prospect clients.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Closely work with Operations to achieve the best service offer for the prospect client.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and leads.
- Train and monitor sales staff to improve performance.
- Prepare and present accurate sales reports.
Educational Background: With bachelor's degree
Work Experience: At least 5 years experience in sales role
Special Qualification:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in janitorial, facility services or related industries.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Must have a good network on target industries (hospitals, hotels, manufacturing plants, and schools) to easily close leads.
