We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts for trade show and event solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the trade show, exhibition, or events industry. This role involves managing a sales team, developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our trade show services, including booth design, exhibit rentals, event marketing, and sponsorship sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets for trade show exhibits, event sponsorships, and related services.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including exhibitors, sponsors, and corporate event planners.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
- Trade Show Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging event technologies to position our company as a market leader.
- Contract Negotiation: Close high-value deals by negotiating contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
- Collaboration with Marketing & Operations: Work closely with marketing to develop sales collateral, promotions, and lead-generation campaigns. Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in B2B sales, preferably in trade shows, exhibitions, events, or related industries.
- Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing a sales team or mentoring junior sales reps.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with trade show logistics, exhibit design, and event marketing is a plus.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed.
