Oversees the sales team, manages distributor relationships, and drives revenue growth within a specific region or for a particular product line. Involves developing and implementing sales strategies, ensuring distributor performance, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Team Leadership: Managing and motivating a sales team, providing guidance, and setting performance goals.
- Distributor Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring effective distribution of products.
- Sales Strategy Development: Creating and executing sales plans to meet revenue targets and expand market reach.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking sales data, analyzing performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Market Analysis: Gathering market insights, understanding customer needs, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales management, preferably within a distribution or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
- Distributor Management: Experience in managing and developing relationships with distributors.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and guide a sales team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with distributors and customers.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of the local market and consumer behavior.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is often preferred.
