Job Description:
The SAP Pricing Custodian is responsible in providing support to the Budget and Accounting Manager in updating and maintaining the organization’s systems base price and other price sheets.
The position identifies, analyses and recommends system and process improvements and implements approved solutions.
Key Job Results include timely implementation/update of Price Lists.
PLANNING
- Works with the Accounting Supervisor in the preparation of the departmental plan concerning system base price.
DOING/EXECUTION
- Maintains and updates the System Base Price and reports unusual prices to the superior.
- Prepares system reports – Disco report, Price Sheet Maintenance, Job Request form.
- Prepares and releases monthly pricelist.
CHECKING/MONITORING
- Checks and monitors the integrity of all base price.
- Checks prices of the distributors aligned with the contracts.
- Checks and monitors daily posted and canceled invoices.
- Checks and align prices based on approved National Pricing
ACTING/ADJUSTING
- Price overriding based on prevailing memo.
OTHERS
- Performs other relevant tasks as assigned by the Immediate Superior
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
I. KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong numerical aptitude, including a solid grasp of generally accepted accounting principles and their applications.
- Updated understanding of current accounting practices, policies, and standards.
- Proficient in data entry procedures, including familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet creation.
II. SKILLS:
- Computer proficiency, particularly in accounting software applications.
- Effective interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work harmoniously with both internal and external contacts.
- Organizational skills, facilitating communication across all levels within the organization.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Competence in equipment operation, including basic office machines like computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, and copiers.
- Prioritization skills, enabling effective management of tasks and workloads within established schedules or standard practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree graduate of Accountancy or its equivalent
- With two (2) years solid experience in all phases of accounting
- Willing to be assigned in Pasay City
