Job description
Functions as Teacher
- The Teacher responsibilities shall include but are not limited to, helps in the following tasks: prepare lessons, create appropriate assessments, proctor examinations, evaluate students, develop and align curriculum with standards articulated by the School, write reports, attend in-service and professional development training, participate in parent-teacher and staff/teacher’s meetings, supervise school events and substitution assignments, and occasional student pastoral and other academic and administrative duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
