Key Responsibilities:
- Patrolling:Regularly inspecting buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Access Control:Monitoring and regulating who enters and exits a property, often verifying IDs and logging visitors.
- Surveillance:Utilizing CCTV and other security systems to monitor for suspicious activity and potential threats.
- Incident Response:Responding to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Reporting:Documenting incidents, security breaches, and suspicious activities in detailed reports.
- Enforcement:Ensuring adherence to security policies and procedures, addressing violations, and escalating issues as needed.
- Customer Service:Interacting with visitors, employees, and other personnel, providing assistance and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Emergency Preparedness:Responding to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, and other security threats, following established protocols.
- Maintaining Situational Awareness:Staying vigilant and observant of the surroundings, being aware of potential hazards and security concerns.
- Deterring Crime:By their presence and actions, security guards deter criminal activity and ensure a safe and secure environment.
