The Project Manager will play a pivotal role within the Delivery Management team, leading and overseeing the successful implementation of our products for one or more clients. Utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, the Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients, as well as internal Implementation and Product teams, to plan, execute, and deliver projects in alignment with contractual obligations. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, generating referenceable outcomes, and driving project profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively applies Finastra Implementation methodology and enforces project standards
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables to support strategic initiatives
- Maintain and control the project budget including tracking of actuals, forecasts and alignment with client on project expenditures
- Provision of timely and accurate information for client billing
- Ensure proactive planning of resource requirements
- Ensure all resources perform time entry and expense reporting in a timely manner
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Maintain full-scale project plans and associated communications documents (i.e. status reports, escalations)
- Track project milestones and deliverables throughout project lifecycle
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Define and communicate project success criteria throughout project life cycle
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear fashion
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential road blocks, and prepare contingency plans
- Manage and Control all corresponding project stages requirements analysis/gap analysis, construction, testing, and production conversion, as assigned
- Lead & Manage project management conference calls as needed with the clients and/or stakeholders
- Provide management reporting on project status and project budget (actuals, POCs, and forecasts)
- Recommend budget changes where necessary during life cycle. Act as POC for clients and stakeholders as it relates to active projects
- Responding to client and stakeholder questions within a reasonable amount of time
- Review deliverables before passing to clients and/or stakeholders
- Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members. Influence positive action and accountability for assigned work and represent company in a professional manner
- Develops and fosters client relationships. Continually looking for ways to increase customer satisfaction
- Conscious of business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to the project
- Conduct project post mortems and report recommendations to resource managers
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
- Guiding the team on effective and productive performance
- Ensuring the team practices continual improvement through reflection
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Providing internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Track, report, and action as required KPI’s
- Proactively management defect management plan
- Providing support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
- Handle multiple projects, both internal and external
- Perform other non-project management duties as directed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in project management.
- Minimum of 5 years financial industry experience, in either banking and/or software vendor environment; payment industry a plus.
- A self-motivated and hard working individual who is goal oriented, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities to meet the demands of internal and external clients.
- Must be able to contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork through collaborative behavior and open communications.
- Proficient in MS Project, Office 365, SFDC, Sharepoint; Experience with Kantata, JIRA and QC a plus.
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management, from senior management to technical personnel, with Finastra and Bank clients.
- Experience in large scale and critical system/software implementations.
- Must be available to travel as required by assigned projects.
- Willingness to work erratic and long hours when necessary to achieve customer and company objectives.
- Work remotely if required.
- PMP and/or Prince certification preferred.
- First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) desired.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and change management.
- Knowledge of techniques of reporting progress and KP
