Key Responsibilities:
Curate and create engaging content using internal resources (newsletters, blogs, videos) and IT-related industry articles.Select relevant topics from curated resources and translate them into social media content (graphic + copy).
Create graphics for social media posts, blog features, newsletters, and short-form videos.
Write copy for social media posts using their best judgment and creativity. Avoid generic or fully AI-generated language. (We can collaborate on tone and provide prompts to guide them.)
Schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
Monitor and engage with comments, reply to DMs, and interact with relevant users or pages to grow engagement.
Support LinkedIn outreach efforts by helping build a posting cadence of 3x per week, ranging from newsletters and articles to short-form posts.
Collaborate closely with our internal coordinator, who will provide guidance and feedback, but work independently and reliably without needing step-by-step instruction.
Bring creative ideas to the table, take initiative, ask smart questions, and be accountable for hitting deadlines and maintaining brand voice.
Key Qualities:
Comfortable with writing skills - uses a professional but approachable tone. Bonus if you can mix in light wit and humor.Eye for design and branding consistency across visual content.
Experience with social media tools (Canva, Adobe Express, scheduling platforms like Hootsuite or Later, etc.)
Familiarity with or interest in IT and tech topics is a major plus.
Comfortable with ongoing feedback and iteration to continuously improve content performance.
