I. PURPOSE
The Social Media Lead will be instrumental in shaping and executing the corporate brand's social media strategy to enhance online presence, drive engagement, and support overall marketing and communication objectives. This role involves leading a team of social media specialists and coordinating cross-functional efforts to create a cohesive and impactful social media strategy.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with corporate marketing goals and objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, engagement, and customer feedback; ensure timely responses to inquiries and comments.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
- Lead the planning and execution of social media advertising campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.
- Recommend and implement innovative strategies to improve social media presence and expand audience engagement.
- Provide mentorship and support to the social media team, fostering professional development and enhancing team performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media and digital marketing, and provide guidance to the team.
- Analyze performance metrics, generate detailed reports, and present insights to senior management to inform strategic decision-making and optimize campaigns.
- Oversee the creation, curation, and management of high-quality content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
III. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
B. Minimum Experience/Training
- At least 4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or communications, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
C. Competency
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and best practices, with proven experience in developing successful campaigns.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration and creativity.
- Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and graphic design software is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
IV. WORKING CONDITIONS
- May require working beyond normal business hours to support campaigns, monitor social media interactions, and engage with audiences during peak times.
