Job description
- Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Plan, create, publish, and share new content (including original text, images, videos, and code) daily
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
- Track and analyze analytics report to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach
- Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and publicly speaking about the brand’s social media strategy
- Performing other duties when needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Will be able to send portfolios ( analytics and running of campaigns as required)
Education and Work Background
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing and social media
