Role description


Assigned Responsibilities

  • Work with the Team Lead, business analyst and business users in support of the operation and maintenance of CMS.
  • Participate in requirements prioritization.
  • Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents. Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
  • Able to provide expertise on Financials and Budget and provide impact analysis
  • Able to decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those must base their work on the requirements.
  • Able to prepare test data and test developed programs against user requirements
  • Able to prepare test scripts and test cases
  • Able to conduct User Acceptance testing
  • Able to write requirements specifications when requested according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.
  • Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
  • Able to define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.
  • Support requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.
  • Participate in the implementation of the new system/solution.
  • Provide support to business users on production issues, how to and clarifications.
  • Able to guide business users and service desk on issues raised in production and clearly advise users/service desk on the functionalities available in CMS.
  • Able to handle technical work such as updating PL/SQL codes or Java codes or configure SaaS where possible.
  • Able to extract report and update data as requested by business users and approved by business owners ensuring such ad hoc updates will not compromise the features of the system.

  • Education Requirements:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting or related discipline


  • Relevant Experience and Other Requirements:

o Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level
o At least five (5) years’ experience in a senior system analyst role, two (2) of which should be working with senior users.
o At least five (5) years’ experience in Financial Applications with knowledge on Procurement.
o Experience as a quality assurance analyst is preferred
o Must have extensive experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) for professional documentation
o Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
o Familiarity with Oracle relational databases and multi-tiered application concepts

o Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and utilization in system development projects

o Well-developed knowledge and understanding of relevant business administration, operational policies relevant work program and concepts, procedures and practices

o Proven ability to conduct independent research by analyzing relationships among several parts of a problem or situation; breaking down a complex task into manageable parts in a systematic way, recognizing several likely causes of events, or several consequences of actions and generally anticipate obstacles and thinks ahead about next steps
