Role Overview
The Total Rewards Director is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the design, implementation, and optimization of the company's total rewards programs. This includes compensation, benefits, performance management, employee recognition, and other employee well-being initiatives. The Total Rewards Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership, senior management, and external vendors to ensure that the company's rewards offerings are competitive, aligned with business goals, and effectively support talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Total Rewards Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and culture.
- Compensation Planning: Oversee compensation planning processes, including salary structures, job evaluations, and incentive programs.
- Benefits Administration: Manage the administration of benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs.
- Performance Management: Collaborate with HR to develop and implement performance management systems that are linked to compensation and rewards.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with HR to develop competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and inform strategic decisions.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits providers and consultants to optimize costs and service delivery.
- Communication: Effectively communicate total rewards programs and policies to employees at all levels.
