As the Trade Marketing Lead for the Philippines, you will drive the end-to-end trade marketing strategy and execution across all channels for the entire product portfolio. With a targeted focus on either Modern Trade (MT) or General Trade (GT) depending on market opportunities, you will develop and lead trade plans that accelerate growth, strengthen brand presence, and improve shopper conversion—anchored in data, performance, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
As the Trade Marketing Lead for the Philippines, you will drive the end-to-end trade marketing strategy and execution across all channels for the entire product portfolio. With a targeted focus on either Modern Trade (MT) or General Trade (GT) depending on market opportunities, you will develop and lead trade plans that accelerate growth, strengthen brand presence, and improve shopper conversion—anchored in data, performance, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Main Responsibilities
Drive Channel Growth & Financial Delivery
- Deliver volume, gross/net sales, gross margin, and BOI targets across retail and e-commerce channels.
- Contribute to improve the Sales & P&L profitability by optimizing trade spend and improving product mix.
- Continuously monitor performance and adjust strategies to meet commercial targets.
- Lead the trade marketing input into Monthly Financial Forecasts (IBP) and annual Brand Plans.

Lead End-to-End Trade Planning & Execution
- Translate brand and category strategies into actionable trade plans by channel and key customer.
- Build and manage the annual trade activation calendar, aligning with brand priorities, commercial needs, and seasonality.
- Develop high-impact promotions, visibility programs, and in-store mechanics to win at the point of purchase.
- Partner with the RGM team to design promo strategies and channel mix that maximize ROI.
Focus on Channel Development (MT or GT)
- Drive channel-specific growth plans for either Modern Trade or General Trade, based on market dynamics and strategic priorities.
- Build outlet coverage, executional excellence, and shopper conversion within the focus channel.
- Partner with field sales and account teams to ensure consistent execution of tailored channel programs.
- Lead pilots and innovation projects in the focus channel, scaling what works across the business.
Monitor & Optimize Trade Investments
- Evaluate ROI and performance of all trade activities with support from RGM and Performance Analytics.
- Conduct post-activation reviews and integrate insights into future planning to improve efficiency and results.
- Propose new trade tactics that challenge the status quo and support commercial priorities.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Execute with Excellence
- Work closely with Brand, Sales, Omnichannel, Supply Chain, and medical teams to ensure aligned and timely execution.
- Consolidate performance data across channels to inform decision-making and highlight improvement areas.
- Act as the key executional lead, ensuring flawless delivery of brand plans in the field.
- Lead pilots and innovation projects in the focus channel, scaling what works across the business.
