Pointwest Innovations Corporation is looking for a mid to senior-level TypeScript Developer to support the migration of a key simulation application from CoffeeScript to TypeScript. This project involves AWS Lambda functions and Angular architecture and requires independent, high-quality, and timely development work. Key Responsibilities
Migrate existing CoffeeScript backend to TypeScript
Refactor and enhance AWS Lambda functions
Update Angular-based front-end components
Collaborate during UAT and testing phases
Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Key Performance Metrics
On-time delivery of migration milestones
High code quality (measured by low defect rates and client acceptance)
Effective collaboration with client and internal teams
Contributions to reusable components or technical improvements
Continuous self-development and adherence to best practices
Qualifications
Required:
Strong TypeScript proficiency
CoffeeScript experience (essential)
AWS Lambda experience
Angular development experience
3–5+ years as a software developer (mid to senior level)
