A Technical Veterinarian’s function is to provide technical support internally (to the sales force) and externally (to customers). This position will also implement health and management programs set by the company to its clients. Furthermore, this position is also responsible to develop programs or strategies to further promote NMI’s line of products to its current and future customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Technical Support to Sales Force
1.1 Provide product knowledge seminars to NMI’s sales force
1.2 Provide updates to the sales force about animal industry current events, best practices, innovations, etc
1.3 Bridge the processing of product complaints from the NMI clients and suppliers
2. Technical support to Clients
2.1 Do farm visits as requested by the customer
2.2 Provide best possible Diagnosis and Prognosis of the problem in the farm and give recommendations on their medication and vaccination programs, design biosecurity programs and overall management of the customer
2.3 Provide basic training to NMI’s clients about production efficiency, management, necropsy and other relevant topics.
2.4 Plan technical activities per month per assigned area
Marketing function
3.1 Creation of marketing collaterals
3.2 Write newsletters about current industry issues and best practices
3.3 Improvement of product presentation materials
3.4 Competitor analysis
4. Supplier/Product Moveout monitoring and Forecasting
4.1 Provide weekly reports of moveout and market penetration of products assigned to them
4.2 Prepare order forecast to suppliers
4.3 Prepare product updates to supplier (move outs, concerns, training needs, and/or forecast)
Training of Newly hired Sales Agent and Technical Personnel
5.1 Create and develop training materials of NMI health products for newly hired sales and technical personnel
5.2 Facilitate Necropsy session
Qualifications:
- Preferred Field of Study: Livestock and Poultry Management and Medicine, Animal Disease Diagnostics
- Degree or Certification : Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with PRC board-certification (Licensed Veterinarian)
- Has experience working in, or had internship/externship in a livestock and/or poultry farm
- Has worked or had internship/externship in an animal disease diagnostics laboratory
Skills Required
- Knowledge and Skills in doing necropsy, Livestock and Poultry production and management
