We are currently seeking a remote, part-time Financial Planning Support VA to assist the financial advice arm of our client’s accounting business. Reporting to the financial advisor team, this role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing area of the firm, supporting accountants and advisors in delivering holistic solutions that integrate both accounting and financial planning services.
The primary focus will be on paraplanning - drafting and preparing high-quality, compliant financial advice documents, conducting research, and ensuring all outputs meet industry regulations. As the practice expands, the role offers the potential to take on broader client service responsibilities and contribute to the seamless delivery of financial planning outcomes for clients.
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in paraplanning or financial services support, with a sound knowledge of advice processes.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to prepare clear, accurate, and compliant Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and supporting documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with accountants and advisors.
- Ability to interpret and apply Australian financial services compliance requirements.
- Flexibility and willingness to grow into broader responsibilities, including direct client support, as the financial advice function develops.
- Experience in Intelli flow with Intelliflow Cash Flow, Product Rex and Omni Integrations is desirable
